Is Piano Moving in Dallas hard?

Piano moving in Dallas seems to be a good balance between difficult situations and relatively easy situations, at least for Stairway Pianos. There can be several factors that determine how the day will play out. We are going to discuss a few of them here.

Traffic

Dallas is a city with a population of around 1.3 million people. This is just the city of Dallas this isn’t counting the surrounding cities. And this number is constantly on the rise since the housing market in Texas is relatively stable. This being said the traffic in the Dallas area is rapidly deteriorating. Especially in and around downtown. This doesn’t affect the customer much, however it could be the reason for any delayed delivery or pickup times.

Hospitality

The people in Texas are incredible, especially here in Dallas. Every day we come across the most compassionate people. We’ve been offered some good ole’ fashion Texas iced tea. We’ve even had a client bake us a dozen cookies upon delivery of her piano. The generosity and the compassion are unmatched anywhere in the United States, we stand by that.

Ease of Access

The last aspect of piano moving in Dallas that we want to touch on is the ease of access. Generally speaking, the area is relatively flat, so we see fewer stair moves. Of course, there are customers who would like a piano upstairs in their house or apartment but exterior steps seem to be present in only about 40% of moves. When we get move requests to the downtown area parking seems to be the main concern. There have been several cases where our movers had to park up to a quarter of a mile away.
